Jason D. Bahnsen joined the firm in May 2006 as an attorney and practices in the Collections Department and Evictions Department, primarily focusing on general collections litigation, foreclosure and unlawful detainer actions, and other real estate-related matters. Prior to joining the firm, Jason practiced as an Assistant Public Defender, representing indigent defendants in criminal cases from pre-trial matters and on through trial.

Jason was born and raised in Charles City, Iowa, and he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and a minor in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa in 2001. Jason received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2004. He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2004 and to the Kansas Bar in 2007. Jason is currently a member of The Missouri Bar, Kansas Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
