Michael P. Gaughan has practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and commercial litigation since 1983. He is the Supervising Attorney in our Collections Department which represents national and regional banks, mortgage companies, credit unions, finance companies and related creditors in commercial and retail recoveries.

Mike is admitted to the Federal courts in Missouri and Kansas and to all other courts in the state of Missouri. He is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, where he argued a bankruptcy case on behalf of a national lending institution in 1997. Mike is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Commercial/Bankruptcy Law Committee, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and the Ad-Hoc Bankruptcy Committee for the US Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri (Chairman). Mike is married with six children and has been a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri.
