Michael L. Zevitz has more than nine years of experience handling mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy matters in Kansas and Missouri. He was admitted to practice law in Missouri and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri in 1990. In 1991, he was admitted to Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
Mr. Zevitz was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 11, 1965. He obtained his B.A. in Economics at the University of Kansas in 1987. In 1990, he obtained his law degree from Creighton University. Mr. Zevitz is currently serving his second term on the Board of Directors for the USFN, a national non-profit association of law firms and trustee companies serving the mortgage banking industry. He is also the past chair and vice-chair of the USFN Technology Committee. Mr. Zevitz is also a member of the following bar associations: Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association; Johnson County Bar Association; Kansas Bar Association; The Missouri Bar; and the American Bar Association.
