Nicholas L. Ackerman joined South and Associates in January 2006. Originally from Nebraska, Nick moved to Kansas City three years ago and accepted an associate position with Dysart Taylor Lay Cotter and McMonigle, P.C. At Dysart Taylor, Nick primarily represented lenders and creditors in bankruptcy, foreclosure and collection matters. Prior to moving to Kansas City, Nick was associated with the Lincoln firm of Kinsey, Ridenour Becker & Kistler, L.L.P., where he primarily practiced in the areas of civil litigation and business law. He also assisted clients in real estate, probate and estate planning. Nick, a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska, College of Law, remains a loyal Husker fan. Nick is a member of the Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, District of Columbia and U.S. Supreme Court bars and will continue represent clients in general litigation and real estate matters and assist them in achieving their business and estate planning needs.
