Commercial and Special Assets

The Commercial and Special Assets Department at South & Associates represents clients in all aspects of loan defaults, bankruptcy proceedings, workouts and reorganizations. The Firm handles all conventional and government insured problem loans secured by automobiles, real estate, business assets and other tangible or intangible collateral. The Firm also represents its clients in post foreclosure deficiency actions, replevins, suits on note, on guaranty and related actions. The Firm also prosecutes and defends adversary actions in Bankruptcy Court including preference actions, nondischargeability actions and lien priority disputes.

Our fee schedule is within the FNMA / FHLMC / FHA / VA requirements and guidelines. Also note that our volume allows us to obtain preferential vendor pricing on expenses relating to the foreclosure action. In the rare instance that fees are expected to exceed the reimbursable industry guidelines, prior notice will be given to our clients.
