Steven L. Crouch is the managing attorney of the
firm’s bankruptcy workgroup. He practices primarily bankruptcy law and related litigation
with an emphasis on the protection of the rights of lenders.
Mr. Crouch was born in Troy, Missouri in 1965. He received a bachelor’s degree in business
administration from The Lindenwood Colleges, cum laude, in 1987, and received his law degree
in 1990 from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. He is admitted to practice
before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri
and the Federal District of Kansas. He is also admitted to practice in the state courts
of Missouri and Illinois.
Mr. Crouch authored many local court rules while serving as a
member of the Ad Hoc Advisory Committee for the Western District of
Missouri. Mr. Crouch has lectured for the Missouri Bar and other organizations at continuing legal educational conferences. He is currently a member of the following associations: American Bar Association; Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association; Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; the Kansas City, Kansas Bankruptcy Bar Association; American Bankruptcy Institute; and the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees.
