Chelsea S. Herring was admitted to the Missouri Bar and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri in 2001, and the Kansas Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in 2002. Ms. Herring completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas, where she obtained a B.S. in Business Administration in 1997. Ms. Herring attended law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and obtained her law degree in 2001. She was also a member of the University of Missouri – Kansas City Law Review. She is currently a member of the Bench Bar Committee to draft local rules for the District of Kansas, and a former member of the Ad Hoc Rules Committee for the Western District of Missouri. She is currently a member of the following bar associations: The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association, Topeka Area Bankruptcy Committee, National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, and Association of Women Lawyers of Kansas City.
